Numa linha

Tu és o Recuperador, e cabe-te voltar a ligar as âncoras.

In one line

An isometric action shooter in a world taken apart: bring Orison’s anchors back online in a narrated campaign, fight across five arenas and host rooms to play with friends.

In one paragraph

In GRAEVAK, Orison was taken apart by the First Pulse and five anchors hold what is left in the air. Zero isolated them during the Fracture and never gave control back; the Crown still vetoes every link, and the shelters are losing light and water. You are the Reclaimer, and it falls to you to bring the anchors back online. A nine-mission narrated campaign, five arenas with bots and multiplayer rooms on the local network, for Windows and Linux.

Long description

GRAEVAK is an action shooter with a raised isometric camera, made by an independent creator in Portugal. The world is Orison, broken into fragments by the Fracture and held in the air by five anchors. You fight with cover, ramps, tunnels and a jetpack.

The Solo campaign, Echoes of the Fracture, has nine missions across three acts, voiced in English with text and subtitles in Portuguese and English, and is playable offline from start to finish. It follows the signal from an ash-covered approach all the way to the Crown: a motorcycle on the ice, a gate guarded by a Sentinel, a tank in the foundry, a flooded station and the Carrier.

The arenas offer five maps, each with its own story and landmarks, and three modes (Free for all, Team deathmatch and Capture the Core). Bots come on three difficulty levels and with different personalities; power weapons sit on pads and taking one is a choice; an announcer calls out kills, streaks and captures. The lobby sets the map, mode, rules, bots and weapons. Whoever creates a room hosts it: public rooms appear on the local network and private rooms open by invitation. Online matches through Steam are planned and do not exist yet.

Use of generative AI

GRAEVAK uses generative AI to produce pre-generated content, always reviewed and integrated by the developer: 3D models of characters, weapons, vehicles and props with their textures, and surface textures; world illustrations and menu art; the animated intro sequences; campaign, intro and announcer voices; the sound effects and ambiences; and the intro music, also used in the trailer. Parts of the in-game text and its Portuguese/English localisation were drafted with AI assistance and edited by the developer. The game does not generate content with AI while you play. Captures and the gameplay trailer show the game as it runs in the engine; illustrations are labelled “AI-generated illustration”.
